Character Overview
Lysandra Luminara was born with a faint celestial glow that her village never understood. Her mother recognised it and protected her as best she could, but fear spreads quickly, and Lysandra grew up marked as something strange — cursed, a witch-child.
The Temple of Veiled Dawn
The Order of the Veiled Dawn stole her away to their fortress temple, perched atop a bleak mountain range. They believed she needed to be 'purified'. Their lessons were strict, they taught her prayer to 'contain the light'. Lysandra learned early to keep her glow dim and her questions quiet. She was being contained, studied, watched.

The Pilgrimage
As her power began to grow, the temple placed her under Paladin protection and sent her on a pilgrimage she understood was to test her faith and discipline.
At an isolated shrine, a shaft of moonlight shaped into a blade cut down her escort. She was left alone and afraid. Was the light meant to kill her?

The Clearing Where Mercy Spoke
She wandered until she found a grieving 'man' burying a young girl beneath the whispering pines.
He wore the face of a beast, but not the heart of one.
Drawn by compassion and a pull she could not name, Lysandra knelt beside him and helped lay the child to rest - a quiet act with blessing whispered into the soil.
Since then, the two have traveled together, bound by shared loss and unanswered questions.

Quoth the Raven
A sleek black raven with an unusual sheen to its feathers. In bright light, hints of gold and silver glimmer beneath its plummage, as though starlight has been trapped within its feathers. Its dark eyes miss little, and it often appears to be studying people rather than looking at them.
